Converge ICT Solutions Inc. secured the top spot in the Philippines’ SpeedGeo Broadband Internet Speed Ranking for the first quarter of the year, according to an industry report.
The company delivered the fastest fixed broadband internet in the country over a 12-month evaluation period from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, by clocking an average download speed of 129.7 Mb/s. Converge also tied for the highest fixed broadband upload performance at 121.9 Mb/s.
Comprehensive industry rankings used data from 365,640 user tests conducted across both fixed and mobile broadband networks utilizing both direct cable and WiFi connections. The report sorted service providers from highest to lowest based on their average download capabilities.
Rival fixed-line networks closely trailed the leader. PLDT registered a 120.7 Mb/s download speed alongside a 121.8 Mb/s upload speed, while Globe logged a download speed of 108.9 Mb/s and an upload speed of 93.4 Mb/s.
In the mobile data sector during that same quarter, DITO Telecommunity Corp. outperformed its competitors to deliver the fastest mobile internet in the Philippines with an average download speed of 70.5 Mb/s. DITO also took the crown for the highest mobile upload speed at 9.7 Mb/s. Globe Telecom Inc. excelled in mobile responsiveness by recording the lowest mobile network ping at 50 milliseconds.
