About 150 families evacuated from high-risk areas in Batangas are now staying in designated evacuation centers due to the lingering threat of Taal Volcano that has been spewing sulfur dioxide and is said to be building up for a strong eruption. Health and safety protocols such as monitoring the temperature of evacuated residents, wearing face masks and installing alcohol dispensers are strictly enforced in these halfway homes. PIA
