As part of the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of formal diplomatic relations between the United States and the Philippines, US Embassy charge d’affaires John Law (right) and Department of Foreign Affairs acting Secretary Ma. Theresa Lazaro launch the event’s commemorative logo at the iconic SM Mall of Asia Globe. Since the establishment of relations on July 4, 1946, the two countries have expanded and deepened bilateral cooperation in many areas, most notably defense and security, trade and commerce and culture and education. The 75th anniversary logo will also be seen in four additional SM Supermalls digital billboards throughout Metro Manila, Pampanga and Cebu.
