DITO Telecommunity Corp. said Tuesday it will roll out mobile services in the National Capital Region and other parts of Luzon on May 17.
“After our official launch last March 8, we are excited to expand our services to NCR and continue our mission of elevating the industry as the country’s third major telco player,” DITO said in an advisory.
DITO earlier expanded its services in Plaridel in Bulacan; San Fernando City in Pampanga; Gapan City, San Leonardo and San Jose City in Nueva Ecija; Ibaan and Batangas City in Batangas; Kawit, Bacoor City and Imus City in Cavite.
DITO said that in the Visayas, it is already available in Toledo City, Balamban and Barili in Cebu. In Mindanao, it is available in Santo Tomas and Braulio E. Dujali in Davao del Norte.
“Subscribers from Central Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao can avail of DITO’s 25GB High Speed Data for P199 promo, which is valid for 30-days,” DITO said.
“Aside from fast and reliable data services, they can also enjoy unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls and texts plus unlimited texts and 300 minutes of voice calls to other mobile networks. Features such as call waiting, call forwarding and video over LTE are also now available for DITO subscribers,” the company said.
The company said it spent over P150 billion for the initial rollout of its infrastructure and other operating expenses as part of its commitment to invest P250 billion over a five-year period to achieve 55 mbps of internet speed, covering 84 percent of the population.
