Aboitiz Construction fabricates and installs 20 tons of pillars to the FSTR, a 109-meter high-speed catamaran ferry that was completely delivered by Austal Philippines and considered to be the largest aluminum vessel ever constructed in the country. The installed pillars consist of hollow tubes that support the mezzanine of the largest ferry by volume that can transport 1,200 passengers and 404 vehicles. Since 2011, Aboitiz Construction has been working with Austal Philippines for their construction requirements.
