Angeles City—Converge ICT Solutions Inc., the country’s biggest pure end-to-end fiber internet service provider, said it is making its network fully redundant with the deployment of a third core node to improve customers’ internet experience.
“We’ve always said that we are all about our customers’ online experience. This is one of the best examples of how we intend to back it up. Our main advantage is the quality of our high-speed fiber connectivity,” said Converge chief executive Dennis Anthony Uy.
He said a third core backbone node would enable a robust and redundant traffic routing in the network, making it more fault-tolerant. The main network backbone of Converge was previously connected to two core nodes in Metro Manila and Pampanga.
Uy said with the completion of a third core network backbone node in December, Converge’s end-to-end pure fiber network would become stronger and more resilient with a more efficient network traffic distribution and better ability to address outages.
