City’s anti-corruption tack hailed

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr.’s governance in Angeles City is now being recognized as one of the non-corrupt administrations in the world by the Anti-Corruption Civil Movement General Federation (ACCMGF).

With his anti-corruption efforts, Lazatin will be invited to the 7th United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day in Korea.

The city mayor has vowed that he will not tolerate corruption under his administration.

He created the Internal Affairs Division in the city as he intensified the fight against corruption.

The city government is continuously conducting inter-office saturation inspection of business establishments.

Lazatin said there is a need spread the value of integrity to make the city transparent.

He has vowed not to allow any misconduct in the city and would investigate suspicious transactions and reports.

ACCMGF is a member of the Union of International Association and authorized by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
