Officials of Swedish furniture manufacturer and distributor IKEA announce the hiring of close to 500 Filipino workers in preparation for next year’s opening of its first Philippine store at SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, which will be the largest in the world. The facility will also house a call center and a warehouse to support e-commerce functions.
