With the proposal of transferring the authority of dam water release to the National Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Council, the National Irrigation Administration holds discussion with NDRRMC; Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration; Department of Local Government; Office of Civil Defense and National Water Resources Board to review the protocol on water discharges from dams. Leading the initial talk are NIA-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System officials led by manager Wilfredo Gloria.
