The Department of Trade and Industry, in partnership with Alaska Milk Corp., taps the Community Health Education Emergency Rescue Services, or CHEERS Corp., and the Philippine Commission for Women to produce 10,000 high-quality reusable and washable non-medical grade face masks, portions of which were distributed to beneficiaries of Barangay Addition Hills and Barangay Namayan in Mandaluyong City. Attending the distribution of face masks are (front row, from left) Alaska Milk corporate affairs director Angela Esquivel, DTI regional director Marcy Alcantara, DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez, Mandaluyong Mayor Menchie Abalos, DTI Undersecretary Besila Lantayona, PCW chair Sandra Montano and DTI assistant secretary Domingo Tolentino.
