Camp Olivas, Pampanga—Government anti-narcotics agents and local police here crushed three suspected illegal drugs dens during simultaneous raids Tuesday in separate areas at Barangay Pagasa, Olongapo City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency announced the arrest of 15 suspected illegal drugs traffickers and users following the raids.
PDEA Region 3 Director Christian Frivaldo said the raiding teams seized methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated street value of P265,200 and illegal drugs paraphernalia.
Armed with four search warrants issued by different courts in Olongapo City, the raiding teams simultaneously barged inside the drug dens and caught the suspects by surprise.
Frivaldo said one of the raiding teams found 25 grams of shabu with a street value of P170,000 at the first drug den situated at 33E 12th Street, Brgy. Pag-asa.
The second operating team swooped down at the drug den at 12th E St., Barangay Pag asa and confiscated 10 grams of shabu amounting to P68,000.
The third search warrant was implemented at 22 D 12 St. Brgy. Pagasa, which yielded 13 grams of shabu and saw the arrest of five suspects.
The last search warrant was fruitless because the target was not around during the raid, PDEA said.
Frivaldo identified the suspects as Princess Lakandili y Bacalia (Targetlist) , 33, resident of 33E 12th Street, Brgy. Pag-asa; Froilan Lakandili y Bacalia, 21, of 33E 12th Street, Brgy. Pag-asa; Kirk Burns y Kaim, 58, of 33E 12th Street, Brgy Pag-asa; Rael Ray Buan y Rafanan, 26, of 35E 12th Street, Brgy Pag-asa; and Christian Kate Certifico y Gigante, 25, of 26th Street, East Bajac-Bajac, Olongapo City.
Others suspects were Daniel Sebastian, 21, of Purok 7, Brgy. Pag-asa,; Marissa Castillo, 38, of Purok 29, Brgy. Pag-asa; Oliver Bautista, 39, of Purok 7, Brgy. Pag-asa; Ace Rufon, 38, of Purok 7, Brgy. Pag-asa; and Agnes Agnes Santos, 51, of Purok 7, Brgy. Pag-asa.
Also arrested were Alvin Tizon, 47, 22, of D 12 st. Brgy. Pagasa; Rosalinda Bulan, 50, 22. of D 12 st. Brgy. Pag asa; Andrew Cruz, 36, of 36 Gordon Avenue Brgy. new kalalake, Olonggapo City; Henry Abales, 35, 71, of Brgy. Pag asa; and Reynaldo Ang, 30, of Pag asa perimeter extension, Brgy. Pag asa.
All suspects were brought to PDEA Headquarters in the City of San Fernando for further investigation as charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against them.
