MyMed Rx Plus Corporation President Jojo Soliman shows at his office in Manila Favipiravir, commercially known as Avigan, which patent was exclusively franchised to Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical in China.  MyMedRx Plus is the sole distributor of Favipiravir in the Philippines.  Favipiravir will be used only in Chinese General Hospital as approved by the Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines through a Special Permit. The antiviral drug is used to treat influenza and is being studied to fight COVID19.
