LGBTQ protest

Manila Police District Civil Disturbance personnel waited for hours at the  Chino Roces bridge near Malacanan palace in Manila after the Bahaghari LGBT group, which earlier announced to hold a  lightning protest at the said bridge at high noon on Tuesday, Sept. 8.  The LGBT group, however, instead held their protest action at the Boy Scout Circle in Quezon City calling for justice for murdered trans woman Jennifer Laude at the hands of US Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton who was recently given an absolute pardon by Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.
