Mariveles, Bataan—Members of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Mariveles led by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia recently extended assistance to two constituents who needed help badly.
SB Mariveles members include Councilors Tito Catipon, Angel Sunga, Susan Murillo, Ronald Arcenal, Joey Carandang, Harry Golocan, Turing Isip, ABC President Venancio Villapando Jr., SK Municipal Federation President Vincent Charles Banzon, and IP Municipal Representative Manuel Pacayay.
SB Mariveles gave considerable financial aid and groceries to Ryan Torrevillas Serrano of Brgy. Townsite, who is undergoing dialysis treatment for two years now, and to Geraldine Estopa of Sitio Paliparan, Brgy. Batangas 2, whose Baby Alhorine has a physical defect of a missing anus opening.
Personnel of SB Mariveles brought the assistance to the homes of the beneficiaries.
“This is just a simple way for SB Mariveles members to help needy residents using money from their own pockets, especially now in the time of COVID 19 pandemic,” the councilors said on their Facebook account.
Serrano and Estopa both thanked Rubia and the Mariveles councilor for helping them.
SB Mariveles members also appealed to residents to “help each other in this time of pandemic and strictly follow the protocols to prevent the spread of the dreaded virus.”
