GCash, the mobile wallet of Globe Telecom Inc., said it expanded its nationwide footprint as the number of cashless transactions reached an all-time high amid the pandemic.
“Nowadays, cashless is slowly becoming the norm, and increasing our cash-in outlets will help provide not only greater convenience to our users, but will also provide them a means to adapt to the new normal. Providing a wide array of cash-in touchpoints—both online and offline—is all about prioritizing the health and safety of our customers,” GCash president and chief executive Martha Sazon said.
“While we already have over 33,000 branches nationwide as cash in locations for GCash users, this number is still seen to grow as we find more ways to cater to Filipinos across the archipelago and even outside,” she said.
GCash users may cash-in anytime and anywhere to their GCash wallets through partner grocery stores—Puregold and All Day and retail outlets such as Robinsons Department Stores and Business Centers, SM Retail Outlets, LBC, Lawson and Shell Select.
They can also cash-in via over the counter transaction in outlets such as Villarica Pawnshop, TrueMoney, Palawan Pawnshop, Tambunting, Pera Hub, RD Pawnshop, Express Pay, Jaro Pawnshop and Bayad Center.
