A program providing for free rides to health workers has just received a boost with Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority taking part as a volunteer who will help ensure frontline workers get their personal protective equipment, face shields and food this day, Aug. 16, 2020. MMDA has joined forces with other agencies such as the Deparment of Transportation, Land Transportation Office, LTFRB and Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) to carry out the free-ride program.
