Teachers and staff of the Department of Education-Division of Sarangani test tablets and other gadgets as they held a successful dry run of the Learning Resources on Wifi Hub for Expanded e-Learning in Sarangani (LR on WHEeLS) at the Calay Indigenous Peoples School in the upland barangay of Lun Masla in Malapatan town. LR on WHEeLS is an innovation of DepEd Sarangani to make e-learning possible to more students in the province, including in areas with no internet connection or signal reception, and is part of the “blended” no-contact learning mode due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Conrado and Ladislawa Alcantara Foundation Inc. (CLAFI) of Alsons Corp. donated 50 units of tablets through the Sarangani Provincial Government’s Sulong Karunungan program as part of its corporate social responsibility.
