Reintegration

The Office of Senator Risa Hontiveros on Monday afternoon delivered and distributed packed meals to at least 500 repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2. The OFWs were waiting for chartered flights that will bring them home to their respective provinces. Hontiveros is calling for an OFW reintegration plan from the government. The Senator filed Proposed Senate Resolution No. 445 which seeks to probe government plan on financial aid programs available for Filipino migrant workers and their families and to help develop a bridge program towards local employment for OFWs displaced by COVID-19.
