Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya—The local government and police officials here on Wednesday opened a new standard-type building for the Philippine National Police (PNP) in this town.
The 3-story building, worth more than P8.6 million, was built on a 144 square meter lot in barangay Bonfal North in this town, donated by the Col. Daniel Lantion Foundation through Mayor Ralph Lantion.
Police Chief Supt. Angelito Casimiro hailed the LGU’s efforts in providing a space for the new PNP building.
“We are grateful for the donation of the lot by the Col. Daniel Lantion Foundation. Rest assured that this building will inspire our policemen to work harder for the betterment of the community,” he said.
Casimiro also said the new PNP building will contribute to the peaceful and progressive development of Bayombong, the capital town of Nueva Vizcaya.
Police Major George Maribbay, local chief of police, said their old building, which was built in 1990 has become dilapidated, crowded, and uncomfortable for them.
The lot donation paved the way for the construction of the building through the PNP’s Modernization Program.
