Peace Process Secretary Carlito Galvez (wearing light blue shirt), the chief implementor of the government’s national policy on addressing the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic; and Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez (in blue shirt), lead the distribution and house-to-house delivery of the P8,000.00 cash as part of the government’s social amelioration program in Brgy. Vitalez, Parañaque City on Friday (April 3, 2020). The social amelioration is based on the maximum subsidy per region determined from the region’s minimum wage levels as these are close approximations to the amount needed to buy basic food, medicine, and hygiene essentials.
