The Department of Trade and Industry convenes the manufacturers of basic necessities and prime commodities and alcohol and other disinfectants in a meeting following the surge in demand for these products in light of the coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak. The emergency meeting aims to ensure supply availability and price stability of consumer goods in the market. Attending the meeting are DTI officials and representatives from manufacturing companies in the country.
