BPSU conducts 15th research in-house review

Balanga City,  Bataan—Twenty six completed  research papers of Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU)  researchers were presented in the recent 2-day university research in-house review. 

Vice President for Research,  Extension, and Training Services Dr.  Hermogenes Paguia said, “The in-house review was being conducted to provide rooms for the improvement of the completed researches before publication”.

“The university wants more faculty members to conduct researches. We aim to sustain the conduct of research focusing on the  agenda and thrusts of BPSU,” he added. 

Paguia said BPSU President Dr. Greg Rodis is pushing for the university to become a dynamic research institution in Central Luzon.  

Earlier, Rodis said there is an urgent need for experts’ innovation by way of researches to improve the quality of living of the people. 

“We should do researches  the people need and can use”, he pointed out.  

Of the 26 papers presented,  19 were social researches and 7 technology researches. There was also poster competition. Butch Gunio

Research and Development Office Director Prof.  Rod Munoz said the research in-house review had a theme, “Advancing the Strategic and Innovative Research”.

Research experts from tertiary educational institutions and science offices in Region 3 served as paper evaluators and critics. 

The research on the  Development of Farmer’s Rice Doctor Kiosk for Increase Production by Munoz garnered the 1st Best Paper Award for technological papers. 

For  social researches,  the 1st Best Paper Award was given to Dr. Ronnell D. Dela Rosa’s Ethical Perspectives in 3D Printing. There were also winners in poster competition. Butch Gunio
