‘Kaldero’ for Taal

To fulfill the request of some evacuees of the recent Taal Volcano eruption, employees of Nickel Asia Corp. have donated ‘kaldero’ (cauldrons or pots) and other kitchenware to replace the ones evacuees lost in the rush to leave their homes. The NAC workers are preparing to ship the items to evacuation centers in Batangas and Cavite. This is in addition to some P75 million in Corporate Social Responsibility funds downloaded by the company itself to its mining and neighboring communities in 2018 alone, said JB Baylon, NAC vice president for Corporate Communications.
