Book lovers can shop non-stop, for 24 hours, from over two million affordable books at 50 to 90 percent off the recommended price. Some titles in Crazy Deals promo are offered at markdowns as low as P60.
China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan, Into the Water by Paula Hawkins, The Power of I Am by Joel Osteen, You Are A Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero, and My Little Pony: The Princess Collection Box Set are among the million books up for grabs.
Visitors can check out other book genres, including fiction, non-fiction, children’s literature, self-help, hobbies, and more.
During the media preview, the organizers of the “world’s biggest book sale” encouraged visitors to donate books to its Red Readerhood corner during the 11-day sale. Collected books from the previous book sales will be donated to the affected communities in Batangas due to the recent Taal Volcano eruption.
As part of the book sale’s precautionary measures amid the ongoing n-CoV outbreak, a medical team will be deployed onsite to check all visitors with infrared thermometers at the entrance and exit. Those with high body temperatures will be prohibited from entering the venue. Hand sanitizers will also be readily available at the customer service area, food concessionaire area, and the exit.
The previous runs of the Big Bad Wolf book sale saw a total of 750,000 visitors during its stops in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. It had over 300,000 visits during its last year’s staging in Manila.
