Committee on Welfare of Children Chairperson and Tingog Party-List Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez answers to the comments and suggestions by several resource persons during the deliberation of her House Bill 4158, an act providing safe haven for abandoned newborn infants at the House of Representatives. Romualdez stresses the intent of the bill is for the protection of the newborn infants abandoned by their parents. The bill is also authored by Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez.
