P24-m police building to rise in Bayombong

Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya—A new Police Provincial Office building will soon rise in this town as part of the Philippine National Police Integrated Transformation Program.

Police Brig. Gen. Angelito Abellera Casimiro, PNP Regional Director, said the new P24-million 3-story PPO building will be constructed this year through the PNP-Department of Public Works and Highways Convergence Program.

He said the PNP Standard Building will be the first to be built in Cagayan Valley funded through the DPWH Regular Infrastructure Project for this year.

“This will be a mirror of the PNP ideals and home for all of us. With this development, the Cagayan Valley Cops will be fully inspired and motivated to serve the individual neighborhood covered by the police station,” Casimiro said.

The new building will strengthen the network of police stations that will cater to the extensive safety needs of the public, he said.

Casimiro joined Vice Governor Jose Tomas Jr., DPWH First District Engineering Office officials, and executives of Jan Norris Construction, the project’s contractor.
