Tatiana Maslany leads this dark comedy as Paula, a newly divorced mother who believes she has witnessed a crime while dealing with custody issues and an identity crisis. The series also stars Jake Johnson and follows Paula as blackmail, murder, and youth soccer collide in one strange investigation.

The Boroughs (May 21, Netflix)

Produced by the Duffer Brothers, the sci-fi series follows residents of a retirement community who face an otherworldly threat that steals time. Its older lead characters give the genre a different point of view from the usual young-hero setup.

The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4 (June 3, Prime Video)

The adult animated fantasy series returns with Vox Machina separated after the Chroma Conclave, only to be pulled back together when a new evil threatens the realm.

Cape Fear (June 5, Apple TV)

Amy Adams, Javier Bardem, and Patrick Wilson star in this 10-episode psychological thriller based on The Executioners and its earlier film versions. The new take brings Max Cady back into the story with a modern update on the classic gothic psychological thriller.
