The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-National Capital Region, in partnership with the Manila Water Foundation, conducts a dispersal of 70,000 fingerlings at the La Mesa Ecopark spillway in Quezon City. The activity, held as part of the foundation’s 21st anniversary, supports BFAR’s Balik Sigla sa Ilog at Lawa Program. The initiative seeks to restore vitality to rivers and lakes while encouraging communities to maintain clean waterways for aquatic life.
