Telco focuses on building reliable and accessible internet nationwide
Globe Telecom opened 2026 by emphasizing that connectivity is about more than speed, highlighting consistent service, affordability, and accessibility at its quarterly media event, The Blueprint.
Held at The Globe Tower, the event showcased innovations aimed at improving how Filipinos live, work, and connect, under the theme “Every Filipino Connected.” Globe highlighted milestones across its mobile, broadband, and enterprise services, emphasizing its goal of making internet access a core part of everyday life.
A major announcement was Globe’s partnership with Starlink to test Direct‑to‑Cell satellite technology. Following a live pilot trial, the companies plan to expand testing to more locations.
Globe also celebrated recognition from Ookla as the Philippines’ most reliable mobile and broadband network.
The company cited this as evidence that its investments are delivering dependable service for work, learning, and commerce. Roche Vandenberghe, Globe chief marketing officer, said consistent connectivity is essential for small businesses, families, and communities.
Globe Business introduced new AI and cloud solutions, including a fully managed data streaming platform with Confluent and the Globe Omnichannel Cloud Contact Center (GOCCC) with Call Center Studio. The tools aim to provide enterprises with real‑time intelligence and AI‑powered customer engagement without heavy capital investment.
For households, Globe At Home is integrating fiber connectivity into new property developments and offering AI‑driven services with a 24‑hour care team to ensure reliable service. Globe Mobile and Globe At Home Advantage plans allow customers to combine mobile and home services for savings of up to P500 per month. Prepaid and TM subscribers receive exclusive promos and free data.
TM, Globe’s prepaid brand, marked its 25th anniversary with community events, rewards, and discounted plans. Globe also expanded its premium Platinum GPlan, which now includes PAL Mabuhay Miles for subscribers.
Through its GoGIVE program, Globe Prepaid users generated more than 4 billion “hearts,” converted into over 840 million in donations to charities including Ayala Foundation, Rise Against Hunger Philippines, Pawssion Project, and the Philippine Eagle Foundation.
“Connectivity today is a lifeline,” said Daruis Delgado, Globe chief commercial officer. “We want to ensure every Filipino, whether in bustling cities or remote barangays, has access to reliable digital services. More than speed, we are building trust, inclusivity, and resilience into our network.”
