Meanwhile, Ayala Corp.’s ACEN Group emerged as the primary renewable energy supplier. It serves the highest number of Green Energy Option Program (GEOP) customers at 403, with an equivalent demand of 134.92 MW. The ACEN Group consists of DirectPower Services Inc. and ACEN Corp.

The GEOP allows power users to choose suppliers that specifically offer renewable energy. The GEOP weighted average price stood at P6.16 per kWh, calculated from data provided by 13 of the 14 renewable energy suppliers with active contracts in the third quarter.

The ERC issues these reports to provide market performance analysis and public transparency, enabling business decisions regarding the efficient use of electricity.
