Donnalyn Bartolome is stepping away from vlogging, a decision she described as a personal gift after years of sharing her life online.
The content creator made the announcement in her latest vlog, The Gift Reverse, where she was first seen giving presents to people close to her, including boyfriend JM de Guzman.
“I have a gift to myself. We’re reversing it back. But my gift to myself involves 10 million of you,” she said, before revealing her decision. “There’s no easy way to say this… But I am saying goodbye to vlogging. That is my gift to myself.”
Bartolome reflected on how much of her life had been shaped by trying to make others happy, admitting she rarely paused to ask what she wanted for herself. She thanked her supporters for allowing her to provide for her family and help others.
“Because of your support, I was able to help, provide for my family, my loved ones, and other people,” she said.
Before fully signing off, Bartolome said she will release 10 final vlogs, letting viewers choose what they want to see. “We will make it a beautiful ending,” she said.
She closed with a reassurance, “I’ll still be around, just not in the same way I used to be.”
