Takeda Healthcare Philippines, Inc. (THPI) has been recognized for a second consecutive year at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards, receiving the Inspiring Workplaces in Asia distinction.
The award honors companies that foster people-centered work cultures. THPI Country Manager Loreann Villanueva said the recognition reflects the company’s efforts to create a dynamic and inclusive workplace that strengthens both employee engagement and business performance.
ACES cited Takeda’s “dedication to creating an empowering workplace where people thrive through collaboration, resilience, and shared values.”
The judges also highlighted employee programs promoting psychological safety, wellness initiatives, mentoring, and inclusive benefits, including medical coverage for same-sex and common-law partners.
Takeda’s programs also include wellness rooms, “No Meeting Fridays,” hybrid work, flexible hours, and quarterly care kits to support work-life balance.
THPI has served Filipinos since 1968 and is part of the global biopharmaceutical company Takeda, which operates in 80 countries. Takeda follows guiding principles known as Takeda-ism, emphasizing integrity, fairness, honesty, and perseverance.
The ACES Awards 2025, held Nov. 27 to 28 in Bali, Indonesia, drew 827 nominations from 32 countries. Takeda Philippines’ recognition follows its fourth consecutive Great Place to Work® certification and third consecutive Philippines’ Best Workplaces accolade.
