OPM singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo addressed viral online comments questioning his hygiene following his recent performance at the University of Santo Tomas’ annual “Paskuhan” celebration.
In a TikTok video, Zack reacted with humor to some of fan cam clips from the outdoor concert, where some netizens jokingly claimed that he was “may amoy” and “maacm” during his set.
The “Pano” singer laughed as he read the comments, dismissing the claims while acknowledging the realities of performing under intense heat.
“Sabi nila ‘Tindi ng amoy n’ya beh nu’ng anjan kami.’ Sure ba kayo ako ‘yun? Baka naman… ewan ko,” he said in the video, before adding with a grin that the remarks may have stemmed from his wardrobe choice.
He noted that wearing a fitted gray shirt while performing outdoors may not have been ideal, jokingly promising to be more mindful next time.
“Pawisin po ako, pero promise, hindi po tayo mabaho,” he continued, adding that he would even bring disinfecting spray to future gigs.
His girlfriend, Abby, also chimed in during the video, assuring viewers that the singer smells good.
The video has since garnered more than 280,000 views and thousands of reactions.
Zack was among the headliners at this year’s UST Paskuhan, which also featured performances by BINI, Ben&Ben, Amiel Sol, and Rob Deniel.
