MANILA Mayor Francisco Moreno Domagoso on Monday led the inauguration of Ospital ng Sampaloc’s new emergency room to facilitate faster response and better healthcare for Manileños.
In his message, Domagoso said the opening was a fulfillment of his earlier commitment to complete the facility within 90 days.
“I told you 90 days. I committed it to the people of Sampaloc, just give me 90 days. But I am happy, it was complete even before the 90th day,” he said in Filipino.
He underscored the need for swift action and timely solutions to improve emergency healthcare services for residents, noting that the new emergency room was designed to address long-standing safety issues in public hospitals that placed both patients and health workers at risk.
