Despite a packed work schedule, Carlo Aquino said he and wife Charlie Dizon hope to start a family in 2026. Speaking to reporters during the Metro Manila Film Festival Parade of Stars on Dec. 19, Aquino shared that the couple is already trying and leaving the rest to faith.
“Nag-ta-try kami and praying na sana mapagbigyan,” he said. “Nasa Kanya pa rin yung ultimate decision… pero nagdadasal kami na sana talaga mabigyan kami next year.”
The 40-year-old actor said he and Dizon feel ready to welcome a child, with no strong preference on gender. “Wala, basta healthy,” he said, adding that having a son would be nice since his daughter Mithi is already part of the family. “Pero whatever… tatanggapan din namin at mamahalin namin.”
Aquino stars in MMFF entry Bar Boys: After School, which opens in cinemas Dec. 25.
