Security Bank Corp. expanded its nationwide network to 372 branches after opening 8 new locations in November, the lender said over the weekend.
The expansion is part of the bank’s strategy to increase accessibility for individuals and entrepreneurs across the country. The new branches are located in key economic corridors and residential hubs in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
In Luzon, the bank launched its Congressional Extension branch along with three new sites in Mexico and Mabalacat, Pampanga and Subic, Zambales. These locations aim to support fast-growing residential areas in Central and Northern Luzon.
The bank also increased its Visayas presence with the Cebu-Basak branch to serve the region’s small and medium enterprise sector. In Mindanao, new branches opened in Midsayap, Cotabato, and Davao City, specifically in the Damosa and Ecoland districts.
Security Bank executive vice president and branch banking head Leslie Cham said the openings reinforce a vision to be more customer-centric. Cham noted that reaching 372 branches allows the bank to deliver personalized service and deeper local engagement.
The new facilities are designed to integrate digital platforms with physical banking.
Cham said the bank aims to balance technology with human connection to meet evolving customer needs.
