Anime-inspired fashion hits Manila 

Japanese lifestyle brand niko and … launched a limited-edition Neon Genesis Evangelion collection at SM Mall of Asia on Dec. 12, celebrating the anime’s 30th anniversary.

The collection features apparel, accessories, and room items inspired by the series, combining clean silhouettes, subtle graphics, and everyday wearability. It is part of the brand’s global celebration of Evangelion and will be available only for a limited time.

“Filipino consumers value design, story, and creativity,” said Daisuke Fujii, CEO of Adastria, niko and …’s parent company. “This collaboration is our way of celebrating Evangelion’s legacy while showing what we hope to build here.”

The SM Mall of Asia store will be transformed into an Evangelion-themed space with curated displays and visual elements reflecting the anime’s legacy. The launch marks a broader plan by niko and … and Adastria to expand in the Philippines, responding to local interest in Japanese culture, design, and lifestyle brands.

Niko and … has previously collaborated with global franchises such as Stranger Things, Sesame Street, Looney Tunes, Thomas & Friends, and PlayStation, blending nostalgia with modern design.
