Ruffa Gutierrez has asked supporters and well-wishers to join her family in prayer as her father, veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez, undergoes his first spinal procedure.
The operation, according to the actress and former beauty queen, is being performed by Dr. Prem Pillay at the Neuro Spine & Pain Center, Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
In a social media post, Ruffa appealed for “prayers for a successful procedure, steady hands for the doctors, and complete healing” for her father.
She also extended special thanks to Filipino nurses caring for her father during the stay in Singapore, acknowledging their dedication and compassion.
Finally, Ruffa and the Gutierrez family offered a message of solidarity to others facing difficult times: “To everyone facing their own battles this season, may God grant you strength, peace, and His healing embrace. From our family to yours, you are not alone.”
