Blackpink’s Jisoo had Filipino fans swooning all over again with a heartfelt message written entirely in Filipino after the group’s ‘Deadline’ concert stop in Bulacan.
On Instagram, the 30-year-old singer and actress posted photos from their November 22 and 23 shows at the Philippine Arena, looking back on the two-night spectacle.
“Pilipinas, para talaga akong bumalik sa kabataan ko—ang dami kong tawa at sobrang saya ko,” she wrote, prompting an outpour of love in the comments from Filipino Blinks who were thrilled to see her speak the native language.
Jisoo also shared that she will always remember the crowd’s “pink wave,” when fans synchronized their glowing light sticks across the arena. “Maraming salamat sa pagbibigay sa amin ng napakagandang alaala. Mahal ko kayo!” she added.
The “Deadline” tour marked Blackpink’s return to the Philippines after more than two years. It was also Jisoo’s second appearance in the country this year, following her solo fan meeting in March. The group is reportedly working on a new album.
