Mayor cites Ilagan’s strides to ‘liveable city’

ILAGAN City—Mayor Josemarie Diaz said the city has attained impressive and ambitious achievements in infrastructure, health, social welfare, education and youth development, economic growth livelihood, digital governance and innovation, environmental protection and disaster resilience, and good governance.

Diaz made this observation in his 2025 State of the City Address delivered on Monday at the Capital Arena here.

He said the city made “significant strides toward becoming a “liveable city” by 2030.

Diaz assured his constituents that his leadership remained committed to quality service, transparency, and accountability, adding that substandard or ghost projects would be allowed under his watch.
