Sofronio Vasquez is ringing in the holidays with a dream collaboration with no less than Canadian crooner Michael Bublé.
The “The Voice USA” champion announced that he and his former mentor have recorded a Christmas track titled “Maybe This Christmas,” which will be released on all music streaming platforms on November 28.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Sofronio shared how surreal the moment still feels.

“I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me five years ago that I would be doing a record with Michael Bublé in 2025 for Christmas. He didn’t just give me a shot, he gave his time, his wisdom and his voice,” he wrote.
Bublé previously confirmed last August that he is helping launch Sofronio’s international career as his way of paying it forward. The Filipino singer also revealed that he is releasing an extended play produced by Bublé, featuring collaborations with global icons Paul Anka and David Foster.
Sofronio made history as the first Asian to win “The Voice USA,” receiving the highest number of votes during the finals. Before his global breakthrough, he first captured attention in the Philippines as a standout contender on “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” on It’s Showtime.
