Landco Pacific Corporation has appointed Metro Stonerich Corporation as general contractor for The Nautilus, a 10-story beachfront residential condominium rising within the 15-hectare Calatagan South Beach estate in Batangas.
The agreement marks the companies’ third project together following The Residences at Terrazas de Punta Fuego, which is slated for completion in 2028.

Landco Pacific president and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano led the ceremonial signing with company executives Gerard F. Peñaflor and Architect Gerald Santos. Metro Stonerich was represented by chief operating officer Elisio Aurellado and senior vice presidents Engineers Fernando Villanueva Jr. and Rene Fabros.
“Bringing The Nautilus to life calls for discipline and precision. We’ve awarded Metro Stonerich the role of general contractor, recognizing their capability to deliver to our standards and timeline,” Manzano said.

The Nautilus, inspired by Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, is a 10-story beachfront condotel designed around energy-efficient and sustainable systems. It recently received the Preliminary EDGE Advanced Certification, making it the first residential and commercial beach condominium in the Philippines to secure the recognition.
Plans for the building include solar canopies, electric vehicle charging stations, and water-efficient infrastructure. Amenities will feature panoramic sea views, infinity pools, and wellness areas.

Manzano said The Nautilus is part of Landco’s continuing effort to integrate architecture, nature, and innovation across its coastal developments.
