NLEX Corp, the operator of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx), reported a 20-percent increase in net income to P10.34 billion in the first nine months of 2025.
The company said higher traffic volumes and toll adjustments implemented during the year led to the higher profit.
It said the net income from January to September increased from P8.65 billion it earned in the same period last year.
Toll revenues rose 17 percent to P21.89 billion from P18.6 billion last year on increased average vehicular traffic volume and toll rate adjustments implemented in March and September 2025 in NLEX and SCTEX respectively, the company said.
The NLEX Connector also contributed to the growth with an upward traffic trend, aided by ongoing promotional initiatives encouraging road usage.
The company said that by the end of September 2025, the average daily traffic in NLEX reached 350,931 vehicle entries, a 1-percent increase compared to last year.
SCTEx also saw 80,349 average daily vehicle entries, or 2-percent higher than last year’s figures.
NLEX Connector traffic had 20,681 average daily vehicle entries, or 9 percent higher than in the same period last year.
NLEX spans about 105 kilometers, or 598 lane-km., connecting Metro Manila to central and northern Luzon.
SCTEx is a 91-km. or 362 lane-km. road stretching from Subic-Tipo to La Paz, Tarlac, linking the special economic zones in Subic and Clark, Olongapo City, to Tarlac City.
