THE Cagayan provincial board has unanimously passed their P4.9-billion2026 budget during their 18th regular session on Wednesday, Nov. 19, presided by Vice Gov. Manuel Mamba.
Mamba thanked the provincial councilors for their approval, saying their unity showed that “public service can succeed despite political differences.”

“Your support for the 2026 budget sends a powerful message: that when leaders choose cooperation over division and services over politics, great things become possible for Cagayan,” he said.
The councillors also thanked the Cagayan Capitol department heads for their support during the recent marathon budget hearing.”
