Microsoft Corp. said Friday it appointed Jonathan Que as the new country manager for the Philippines, succeeding Peter Maquera, whose leadership laid a strong foundation for the company’s continued growth in the nation.
Que brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the technology and cloud industry, with a recognized track record of building markets from the ground up, rapidly scaling organizations and transforming digital ambition into measurable business outcomes.
Que and his leadership team will focus on accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies across the Philippines. the initiative aims to drive innovation and foster inclusive transformation throughout the country.
“The Philippines is emerging as a leader among frontier firms—organizations that are redefining what’s possible by combining human ingenuity with the transformative power of AI,” said Microsoft ASEAN president Mayank Wadhwa.

Que has held senior leadership roles across multinational technology companies including IBM, HP, Dimension Data, VMware, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and eCloudvalley (ECV).
