Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) has deployed new withdrawal and deposit machines (WDMs), a smart self-service solution integrating cash deposit and withdrawal services into one 24/7 terminal for enhanced customer convenience.
Metrobank said this is part of the bank’s broader strategy to strengthen customer touchpoints and adapt to evolving banking habits.
The WDMs allow clients to deposit and withdraw cash around the clock without queuing or completing forms in a branch.
The cardless machines process transactions in real-time, instantly crediting deposits and maintaining the security of funds. Customers can deposit directly into Metrobank accounts simply by inputting their account number or using a debit card.
The machines accept deposits in P100, P500 or P1,000 bills. Withdrawals are capped at P20,000 per transaction.
Metrobank said WDMs are now available at select branches, including UN Avenue (Manila Doctors Hospital), BF Homes Las Piñas, Caloocan, Ayala Avenue, Libertad, Camarin, Antipolo-Circumferential Rd., P. Tuazon – Cubao, and Grand Hyatt.
The bank said it plans to deploy more WDMs nationwide.
