The Manila Police District (MPD) on Monday reported that a crowd of approximately 110,000 stayed in Luneta overnight after the first day of the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s (INC) Rally for Transparency and a Better Democracy.
Meanwhile, the City of Manila’s Department of Public Services (DPS) collected 7 truckloads of garbage equivalent to 19 metric tons.
Yesterday, the INC formally began its 3-day protest seeking transparency in the ongoing investigation into flood control anomalies.

An estimated crowd of 190,000 was gathered at the Quirino Grandstand as of 11 a.m. this morning for the demonstration’s second day.
Aside from MPD, personnel from the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MCDRRMO), the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), Manila Health Department (MHD) are still deployed to assist the INC members.
