Star Cinema’s family drama Meet, Greet & Bye has earned P33 million in its first three days in Philippine cinemas.
The film began screenings in the United States, Canada, and Guam on Nov. 14, following launches in Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East on Nov. 13. Its international distribution also covers the United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, France, Italy, Greece, and Spain.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the film stars Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Belle Mariano, Juan Karlos, and Maricel Soriano. It tells the story of the four Facundo siblings who do everything they can to fulfill their dying mother’s wish to meet her favorite Korean star, Park Seo-Joon.
The cast also includes Kaila Estrata, Kaori Oinuma, Matet de Leon, Jeffrey Tam, and Robbie Jaworski.
On its opening day, Nov. 12, the film earned P10.5 million at the box office.
