Comedian Ate Gay shared a positive health update about his ongoing cancer battle.
On Tuesday, Nov. 4, in a Facebook post, he announced that he has completed his chemotherapy treatment.
“Graduate na ako sa chemo. Nalagpasan ko ang pagduduwal, walang panlasa. Now nakakain na nang bongga,“ he wrote.
The comedian also shared that he has 15 radiation sessions left before starting immunotherapy, which will include 12 cycles every 21 days.
“Salamat po sa mga dasal niyo. Lumalaban ako,” Ate Gay added
Ate Gay, who revealed his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis in a September episode of “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” has since received an outpouring of support from his friends in the industry and even from hia fans.
An anonymous doctor also covered the cost of his radiation therapy at the Asian Hospital in Muntinlupa, while a fan lent him a nearby condominium unit for convenience during treatment.
“Umiiyak ako dahil masaya ako… Napakasuwerte ko sa mga anghel ko,” he said in a previous interview.
