Former “Eat Bulaga” host Anjo Yllana has accused Senator Tito Sotto of having a longtime mistress and claimed that a “syndicate” operates within the long-running noontime show, in a series of online livestreams where he aired grievances against his former colleagues.
In a TikTok livestream on Nov. 3, Anjo warned the senator to stop sending “paid vloggers” to attack him online, threatening to reveal the identity of the woman allegedly involved with the senator since 2013.
“Tito Sen, ang dami mo na namang pinalabas ‘yung mga bayaran mo na vloggers. Gusto mo talaga ng laglagan? Gusto mo i-reveal ko na mula 2013 kung sino po ‘yung kabit niyo, Tito Sen?” he said.
A day earlier, Anjo questioned Sotto’s 2022 campaign promise to donate his Senate salary to students, urging him to present proof of the pledge. The former host also alleged that corruption and betrayal have long existed within “Eat Bulaga,l describing the show’s operations as being run by a “syndicate.”
Sotto dismissed Anjo’s remarks when asked by Senate reporters, saying he would not engage with the allegations.
“Hindi ko na papatulan. Huwag niyong pansinin at nagpapapansin ‘yan,” he said.
Anjo left “Eat Bulaga” in 2020, citing financial and logistical difficulties during the pandemic.
